Personalizing our Pom Poms Christmas Tree
I love these little table top trees but I don’t want mine to look like everyone else, so we are going to do some crafting and fix that!
Black and white buffalo plaid is my favorite pattern, so while I was at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, I purchased 1/2 yard with my 40% online coupon.
Once I was ready to make over my Pom Poms Christmas tree, I removed the current burlap skirt and used this as my template to cut my new fabric.
I roughly measured the new tree skirt to be about 13″ x 13″ square.
Using my acrylic ruler and rotary cutter, I cut the fabric.
Once I had three squares cut, I then used the same jute rope to tie up the fabric around the Christmas Trees.
But, if you want to personalize your Pom Poms Christmas Trees even more, you can use any ribbon or string.
Now to trim our tree!
Decorating my Pom POms Christmas Tree
Now I have my favorite glue gun warmed up and my different sized Pom Poms divided in three groups, one group for each tree.
First I added a little glue to one part of the larger Pom Poms and glued it to the top of the tree as the tree topper.
Then I glued the remains larger Pom Pom’s randomly around the tree on the branches.
Next I filled in the areas by gluing the smaller ones randomly throughout the tree.
Once they are all glued on, my Pom Poms Christmas Trees are ready to be used in my decoration.
