What a fun day I got to spend with my daughter Daniella, at the flea market in Wellman, Iowa! The weather was perfect! Sunny and mid to upper 60’s. I have always loved fall in Iowa. Cooler weather, the color changes of the leaves! My only complaint is that this season does not last long enough.
Today was our first trip to the Barn but it definitely won’t be our last! I tried to go Live on my Facebook page, Melissa Peterson Designs and became completely tongue tied trying to say where we were at! Oh well!
We walked around looked at all of the goodies, ate BBQ and had mixed cocktails! Jalapeño smash is my new favorite!
I came home with a wonderful old tile with a gold patina that I will place on my newly painted walls. I purchased a large wreath today at Hobby Lobby (50% off!) and I am excited to put the two together!
The green boxwood wreath over the gold tile on my Granite Peak blue walls!
I also got a new coffee mug! I am becoming obsessed with collecting big clunky mugs! The bigger the better! 🙂
On another note, I am still reading Christy Wrights book, Business Boutique, chapter 7 regarding goal setting.
There is a section in this chapter where we are supposed to identify where we excel. that is so hard for me to identify!
I love to paint, spend time with my family and fur babies, I love nursing but had to stop working as a floor nurse after 2 back injuries.
Where do I excel? I am not sure. I think the saying Jack of all trades, master of none (but working on it) seems appropriate to me!
I love a lot a variety of things and depends on my mood what I am currently interested in. I love learning, but excel? I guess this is a life lesson for me!
Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend!!
