Making a book page wreath is one of those crafts you can easily sit down with friends one afternoon and a cup of coffee and have a great time visiting and crafting! And I’m pretty sure, each book wreath like a snowflake would look very different!

Supplies you will need
- Used book of your choice.
- Cardboard cut into a circle approximately 12-18 inch diameter.
- Mod Podge and a cheap paint brush.
- Embellishments (optional). Glitter. Christmas pick. Silver Glitter Blast spray

Gather your Supplies
After gathering all your supplies, start by making your cardboard base.
I used a box I had on hand and cut a circle.
Now is the time to make sure you leave a space in the cardboard to hang your wreath when you’re done.

Next I ripped out the pages from my book I had picked out from Goodwill.
TIP: I chose to to embellish my pages with glitter. I used a brush and painted a small amount of Mod Podge to the edge of the pages and then sprinkled glitter on them before gluing these pages to the wreath.
I used all the pages in the book since I wanted my book page wreath to have small rolled pages. You’ll see in the video below how I tried to keep these uniform.
Adding layers
Once you have your first layer completed and ready for the next layer, stagger the next layer in.
My book page wreath took 6 layers of rolled pages. Keep staggering your pages in until your ready to add your embellishments in the center.
Embellishments
I wanted to add a Poinsettia flower to the center of my wreath. You can always add a Christmas ornament of your choice or continue to add rolled pages until your wreath is filled in.
The Poinsettia Pick I purchased on sale at Hobby Lobby wasn’t very stable when I tried gluing to the wreath.
I ended up poking a larger hole in the cardboard in the back and I was able to fish the pick portion through the hole and secure this on the backside of the cardboard.
Of course, my book page wreath wasn’t “glittery” enough, and I happened to have a can of Silver Glitter Blast spray so I took my wreath outside and lightly sprayed it.
I hope I inspired you to make your own book page wreath and if you do I hope you share your creation!
